Flip

One day, I was driving to the rescue house when I spotted a dog without fur, clearly suffering from bad scabies. I couldn’t stop thinking about him, so the next day, I returned with medication, hoping to find and help him. But no matter where I looked, he was nowhere to be seen.

I asked a few people nearby if they knew anything about the dog. A woman pointed to a house and said they had dogs there. When I went in, I didn’t find the dog I was searching for—but I found little Flip. He was chained up in a dark corner, looking completely defeated.

I couldn’t leave him like that. He wasn’t the dog I originally set out to help, but I knew I had to do something. I unchained him and told the people there that I was taking him to the clinic. They didn’t protest, didn’t even ask about him.

Flip spent quite some time at the clinic getting treated and recovering. When he was ready, I brought him to the rescue house. Initially, I thought I’d just keep him there for a while, long enough for him to recover fully. But as the days passed, and I saw how the family never asked about him—not once—I realized there was no going back.

I couldn’t let him return to the life he had. So, Flip stayed. He’s been through so much, and now he’s ready for his forever home. This sweet boy deserves a family who will love and cherish him the way he’s always deserved.

Adopt little Flip and give him the life he’s been waiting for.
