AdoptableKanah
Freed from a chain at the same house as Penny. Quiet at first, now inseparable from her rescue-house best friend Sally.
Kanah's story
I used to pass this place while walking my dogs and saw how badly they treated their animals. I had already taken some other dogs from them before, but when new people moved in, I hoped things would change. Unfortunately, they still had dogs tied up outside. At first, I only noticed Kanah and Penny. When I talked to the new owners, they said they were just being cautious and didn't want the dogs to run away. But nothing changed, the dogs were still stuck on their chains. So I asked if I could take them to the vet for a check-up, and thankfully, they agreed. Seeing how neglected they were, I couldn't bring myself to give them back. Kanah was first very quiet, but I could tell she and Penny had a close connection. They mostly hung out with each other. But the longer Kanah was with us in the rescue house, the more she started playing with other dogs too. She and Sally have become really good friends, I always see them playing together and chasing each other through the rice fields.
